Vidya Dairy was awarded “Appreciation award” in ice cream Hoshin meeting held on 20th December, 2022 for their contribution for new product development and ice cream supply chain.

All India Kaizen Competition 2021-22

Vidya Dairy was awarded 1st Runner up prize in All India Kaizen Competition 2021-22 by Baroda Productivity Council in the Category of Energy. Kaizen was: Energy Conservation by regenerating energy of cheese milk and whey. On behalf of Vidya Dairy Shri Ajay Zala, Dy. Manager(Dairy), Shri Akshay Patel, Asst. Executive (Dairy) and Shri Vipul Raval, Sr. Officer (Dairy) received the award & certificate from Shri Pradip Ahirkar, Chief Project Manager, I.R.S.E. (Bullet Train Project), Smt. Shalini Agrawal, IAS, Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara and Shri Vipinchandra Patel, President of BPC were the other dignitaries present.

Shri Meghraj Raj, Officer (Q.A.) from Vidya Dairy was awarded 1st position in 17th National Dairy Products’ Judging Contest for individual under industry category by SMC College of Dairy Science, Anand on 3rd September, 2022.Shri Meghraj Raj, received trophy from Hon’ble Shri Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB, Dr. N.H. Kelawala, Vice Chancellor, Kamdhenu University, Shri Jayen Mehta, Chief Operating Officer of GCMMF and Dr. Atanu Jana, Principal of SMC College of Dairy Science, Anand.

Vidya Dairy team was awarded 1st position in 17th National Products’ Judging Contest under the category dairy/food industries by SMC College of Dairy Science on 3rd September, 2022. Team of Vidya Dairy comprising of Shri BhaskarTrivedi, Asst. Executive (Q.A.) and Shri Meghraj Raj, Officer (Q.A.) received the trophy from Hon’ble Shri Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB in the presence of Dr. N.H. first prize in a quiz competition organized by GPCB

Vidya Dairy team won first prize in a quiz competition organized by GPCB in association with Amul dairy on 2nd June, 2022 as a part of celebrating World environment day. Mr. Shubham kumar and Mr. Pranav Padhiyar were the team members from Vidya dairy who received the first prize.

1st Runner up in Productivity in COVID Uncertainty Contest 2020.

On 4th March, 2021, Vidya Dairy, Anand was awarded “Certificate of Excellence & Trophy” by Baroda Productivity Council, Vadodara for being 1st Runner up in Productivity in COVID Uncertainty Contest 2020. Shri Divyesh Chauhan, Assistant Executive (QA); Shri Ajay Zala, Dy. Manager (Dairy), Shri Kalpesh Parmar, Dy. Manager (Engg); Shri Jaydev Patel, Dy. Manager (Sales & Gen. Admn.); Shri Harshad Oza, Assistant Executive (QA), and Shri Jigar Patel, Sr. Executive (Marketing) received the award and certificate from representative of Baroda Productivity Council, Vadodara.

QCI - D L Shah Quality Awards-2020

Vidya Dairy participated in the 13th Quality Council of India-QCI-D L Shah Quality Award for the project entitled "Establishing extrusion line set up for Dairy students' training and public utility". It was a four round award process. After 1st round of screening (application/Data evaluation), Vidya Dairy was selected for presentation round which was conducted at QCI, Delhi followed by nomination/selection of Vidya Dairy for the site visit.

QCI - D L Shah Quality Awards-2020

Following site visit and scrutiny by QCI team, the jury of NBQP (National Board for Quality Promotion), Delhi declared Vidya Dairy for Gold Award in QCI – D L Shah Quality Award-2020. On 17th December, 2020, QCI presented the Gold award to Vidya Dairy in virtual event. Earlier Vidya Dairy also received IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award-2006 & Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award-2004.

Vidya Dairy received the Assocham Innovation & Excellence Awards, 2018 in the category of “Best Skill Development in Dairy Sector for the year 2018” from the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, Gujarat council, Ahmedabad. Award was received from Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, GOI.

Vidya Dairy received an appreciation award by GCMMF for contributing in new ice cream product development. During the period 2016-17, we have carried out trials of ice cream using five different fruit preparations of Orana India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, Haryana. We have also developed Peanut butter ice cream, low sugar ice cream, with monk fruitpulp & different types of Mayonnaise from pure ghee, trials were conducted and recipe was finalised.
